An advisor and business owner with a background in an international Big4 consultancy, academia, and the NHS in the UK. She delivers person-centric population health and integrated health innovation, development, and solutions. Mariana is a key catalyst at Innovex, fostering collaboration and partnership nationally and internationally with commissioners, providers, and academia. In addition to her roles, she also works for a NHS Mental Health Trust, a Children’s and Young Person’s Charity, and serves as a mentor.

Partner
An entrepreneur and owner of multiple businesses, he is also a practising surgeon in the NHS with expertise from working in a Big4 consultancy. He is a highly regarded Royal Society of Medicine MBA educator, known for applying design thinking and person-centric processes. At Innovex, he leads strategy development, clinical service improvement, digital technology, and education initiatives.

A consultant with extensive experience in various senior leadership roles, including international blue-chip pharmaceutical companies, digital health, and the NHS. An expert in business development, sales and marketing, organisational change, and delivering innovation across primary, acute, and community healthcare, as well as the life sciences sector. Andrew is a key catalyst at Innovex and is actively involved with an NHS organisation. He effectively bridges the gap between private sector enterprises and public healthcare commissioners.

Partner
A carer, social entrepreneur, community organiser and executive leader. Addresses health inequalities and care for disadvantaged communities. A senior leader for the NHS Confederation, a Partnership Trust, and Institute of Race Relations Wayne is also one of the architects who developed the national Complete Care Community model for Primary Care Networks. He was an NHS non-executive, Clinical Commissioning Group Vice-Chair and leader in mulitiple community organisations. At Innovex, he is a catalyst using his expertise in embedding coproduction and health equality nationally.
Daphne

An inclusive leader skilled at turning ideas for social change into tangible and impactful action. Daphne has led many partnerships across health, charity, voluntary and community sectors that seek to tackle health and societal inequities that involve the public. As a Big4 consultant she gained significant experience in the healthcare, sustainability and climate change sectors. She is a supportive trustee for IRISi and Prompt Maternity Foundation, charitable organisations tackling domestic violence and abuse and maternity care. Daphne is also a coach and delivers health equality and coproduction in Innovex.
Julie
Delivery Partner
A business owner, qualitative researcher, strategic designer, and advisor including for pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, consumer wellness, and public and private healthcare systems. She focuses on healthcare innovation, addressing challenges like increasing chronic illness and rising healthcare costs, behavioural change, and AI. She guides teams through complex decisions, helping them to clarify options and formulate effective strategies. Alongside her teaching responsibilities at the University of the Arts London: Central St Martins she is also the community coproduction and research expert in Innovex.

Is pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Population Health at the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Population Health. She has a special interest in biomarker detection and the development of risk predictive models and AI. With a rich background in global pharmaceutical companies and leading healthcare consulting firms, Rui has honed her skills in qualitative interviews, drug development, and quantitative data analysis. At Innovex, she applies her extensive expertise in research and consultancy to advance population health outcomes.

A practising medical doctor at the NHS with a multifaceted background encompassing roles as a management consultant, and social worker. His diverse expertise includes NHS mental health transformations, youth justice and child protection and startup experience, having developed a B2B fintech product from concept to market launch. Jonathan’s unique depth to his professional portfolio in mental health, clinical and social care makes him a valuable asset to Innovex Partners.
Danilo
Delivery Partner
A consultant psychiatrist and professor at the University of Ottawa in Canada. He previously held a professorship at the United Arab Emirates University. With substantial experience at the NHS Maudsley Hospital and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London, as well as St George’s and Oxford Universities, and the University of Manchester, his expertise is extensive. As a specialist in psychiatry, neuroimaging, psychopharmacology, and mood disorders, Danilo is Innovex’s leading mental health expert and mentor.

Trained as a medical doctor and in public health Mohsin is a business owner where he has extensively developed his expertise in health and social care at local and national levels. He has acquired significant experience in cancer care in senior executive roles with the London Cancer Network, national cancer strategies, early detection initiatives, personalised care, palliative and end of life care, research and staff training. Mohsin brings experience in cancer care and education to Innovex.

A Doctor of Philosophy researcher in Public Health at the university of Lausanne in Switzerland, prior to this he was a researcher at University of Manchester in Health Economics. During his NIHR pre-doctoral fellowship Sam explored health inequities and inequalities in mental health and primary care. In Innovex he applies this expertise in population health, health economics and his special interest in mental health.
Kapil
Delivery Partner
A practising surgeon and clinical researcher with expertise in clinical governance and big data. He has evaluated numerous clinical trials and secondary healthcare services, focusing on risk analysis and clinical outcomes, with his findings published in international peer-reviewed journals. This work has significantly influenced patient services in acute care. He supports the Innovex partners with cancer care research and health equality challenges.
Joseph
Delivery Partner
A leading Neurologist and Neuroscientist specialising in Neuroepidemiology, Neurovascular Ultrasound, and Stroke Research. He is also a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford Centre for the Prevention of Stroke and Dementia. Amongst the many activities, he founded a global research group to improve how we predict stroke risks. Joseph has won several international prizes and scholarships in neurology and has many published research papers. As well as training new doctors and scientists and ensuring African patients are included in research, he is also the key lead and mentor in brain health at Innovex.

A distinguished public health expert adept in cross-sector collaboration and has influenced high-level government decision-making, leading to roles at The Alan Turing Institute and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Oxford, Meredith’s research focuses on analysing specific populations using comprehensive medical data and real-time biological samples. At Innovex she leverages her extensive research skills and expertise in population health to advance projects and publications.
Masooma
Delivery Partner
A Doctor of Philosophy researcher at the University of Oxford, specialising in research on pancreatic cancer. Previously she was a research scholar at Harvard Medical School, Boston, served as a teaching assistant and researcher at both Jacobs University, Bremen, Germany, and the German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg, Germany. Masooma is the first woman from Balochistan, Pakistan, to study cancer biology and become a cancer researcher. She is an integral part of the Innovex team, contributing to cancer care and health equality through quantitative and qualitative research.

A clinical healthcare leader in health consulting with extensive experience at a Global Big4 management firm. She excels in working with public and private healthcare clients, developing strategies, delivering operational plans, and leading complex programmes. As a former Deputy Director at NHS England, Sura has substantial experience in shaping the UK national medicines strategy and policy, and engaging key stakeholders including NICE, DHSC, pharmaceutical trade associations, parliamentarians, and NHS system leaders. She supports the partners of Innovex in delivering core priorities in cancer care and brain health, medicines optimisation, digital transformation, and enhanced patient outcomes.

A talented Doctor of Philosophy researcher specialising in population health, epidemiology, and mixed methods research at the University of Oxford. She has experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, local authorities, and management consultancy. In her collaboration with health and care partners, she fosters understanding and takes effective action to improve population health through prevention, service quality improvement, and addressing the wider determinants of health. Ysabelle has conducted mixed methods data evaluation for numerous initiatives and uses this expertise to mentor her colleagues at Innovex.
